Application for the Organisation of the DRBC 6

The next Danube Region Business Conference (DRBC 6) will take place in autumn 2007.

We herewith invite interested Government or Regional Representatives to send a written application for the Organisation of this conference to the Austrian Organising Committee (AOC) which will again function as Advisor to the Organising Committee of the applicant Country or Region.

Please find hereafter the list of requirements for Application:

1. The application document must be presented in writing by authorized Representatives of the Organisers.
2. It must contain the following information in detail:
   1. Location (City) and date of the Venue
   2. Name of the Institution/Organisation which is responsible for the decisions on Government level (Official Invitation, Budget and Organising partners)
   3. Project Paper containing
      • The main Goals of the Conference
      • Topics other than the traditional topics discussed at the DRBC's (Banking and Finance, Infrastructure with special concentration on the Danube within the European networks, Water-management and Environment, Education and Learning, Tourism and Culture and last but not least the Cooperation between Science and Business)
      • Other Events (Exhibitions or Project Exchange) as part of the Conference
   4. A basic commitment for the Financing of the Conference in form of a "Letter of Intent" or a "Guaranty" by the responsible Ministry or Regional entity.
   5. A consistent time-table for the decision process, starting in April/May/ 2006, at the latest, and ending with the date of the Conference. (Necessary to enable interested sponsors to plan for the budget 2007)
3. The venue of the DRBC 6 will, after evaluation of the applications, be decided at the Danube Cooperation Process-Conference in 2006.
4. Decide on the main Slogan for the DRBC6. The AOC holding the Copyrights of the Name and Logo of the DRBC´s will put these rights at the disposal of the Organisers of the Conference for a nominal amount.
5. Propose form of publication of the Final conclusions of the Working groups.
